Meet our advisory board

The members of our Advisory Board are recognized childbirth and lactation experts who dedicate themselves to the health and well-being of mothers and their babies. We are so grateful to them for graciously donating their time and experience to our Advisory Board.

Michelle Kinne

Michelle H. Kinne, BA, IBCLC, RLC, ICCE, CD (DONA), has worked within the discipline of maternal and child health for more than 16 years. Michelle currently works as a lactation consultant for St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, where she performs lactation evaluation and assessments, facilitates referrals, and provides breastfeeding support for inpatient mothers and babies and a Level II special care nursery. Michelle is the Washington state lactation educator trainer for CAPPA. She is a magna cum laude graduate of Western Washington University, where she majored in human services. Michelle also is an adjunct faculty member for Bates Technical College, where she has facilitated childbirth education classes for thousands of students and career training for hundreds of future perinatal and lactation educators and birth doulas.
