The My SmartBaby Infant Simulator is the ideal interactive teaching tool for instruction in infant care and teen pregnancy prevention programs. The simulator provides a realistic simulation in infant care lasting up to 48 hours by requiring students to respond to a variety of basic infant care needs, such as feeding, burping, diaper changing, rocking, and more. The simulator also has sensors that detect mishandling, such as being shaken or dropped. There is no additional software to buy: My SmartBaby conveniently connects to a mobile device via Wi-Fi and is managed with a downloadable, easily updatable app. Instructors can use the app to manage their My SmartBaby program and provide student feedback. Students can use the app to send information to the instructor, take a quiz, and complete an infant care budget. Each My SmartBaby simulator is anatomically female with brown skin tone and represents the approximate size (about 6½ lb; 20" long) of an infant up to the age of 3 months. Each My SmartBaby comes with set of accessories, universal charger block with USB cable, carrying case, and contents card providing access to downloadable manuals, an activity guide, and instructional videos.

My SmartBaby offers ease of use for instructors while giving students a remarkably realistic infant care experience. No additional software is necessary: Each My SmartBaby simulator contains a central processing unit (CPU) that conveniently connects to a mobile device (smartphone, iPad, or tablet) via Wi-Fi and is managed with a downloadable, easily updatable app (available in IOS/Apple and Android).


Features of the My SmartBaby Infant Simulator:


  • Includes an anatomically female simulator that represents an infant up to 3 months in age (approximately 6½ lb; 20" long)

  • Provides a realistic infant care simulation lasting up to 48 hours, during which the simulator may have up to 200 infant needs and cares (such as feeding, diapering, rocking, medicine, or a toy)

  • Offers three preprogrammed levels of difficulty that may be selected, including an up to 7 minute event/attention time with unpredictable, random crying like a real infant

  • Includes sensors that detect infant mishandling (impacts or shaking)

  • Provides students with difficult-to-remove sensor bracelets so that the simulator recognizes its parents and prevents students from transferring care to someone else

  • Enables owners/instructors to manage their My SmartBaby simulators with the app for mobile devices

  • Allows students to provide information to and receive feedback from instructors through the app, take an infant care quiz, and complete an infant care budget

Each My SmartBaby Infant Simulator includes a female infant simulator in brown skin tone with CPU unit, T-shirt, two diapers, feeding bottle, medicine bottle, baby rattle, on/off key, emergency instructor tag, 10 parent sensor bracelets, one parent bracelet blue tag, a universal charger block, USB cable, accessory bag, and instructor carrying case. The simulator also comes with a contents card that provides access to viewable/downloadable quick start guides, full user guide/instruction manual, activity guide, information sheets, and instructional videos.
